The Quality and Performance Measures Workgroup is working to identify gaps in quality and performance improvement measures for adult immunizations, work with partners to encourage the development of appropriate adult immunization performance measures, and promote the use of such adult immunization measures to increase the overall rates of adult immunization.

The End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) subgroup developed a set of recommendations to CMS on potential means to improve End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) quality programs in the Medicare ESRD population.
Priority Setting for Health Care Performance Measurement: Addressing Performance Measure Gaps in Priority Areas
The working group provided input to efforts to identify gaps in the development and implementation of adult immunization quality measures, and helped shape initiatives to address these gaps, including the National Quality Forum (NQF) adult immunization project, and the initial efforts to develop a national immunization plan.
