The Policy and Decision Makers Workgroup is working to identify decision makers who should be the target audience of adult immunization educational efforts and provide them with core, evidence-based data and educational messages and activities that will help accomplish the overall goals of the NAIIS.

Worksite Influenza Vaccination Study
Ofstead conducted the Worksite Influenza Vaccination Study (WIVS) to evaluate the impact of interventions designed to increase vaccination rates among industrial employees and their dependents. This prospective, multisite, controlled study was conducted at a large U.S. manufacturer. Collaborators included researchers from the Employers Health Coalition, HealthScope Benefits, and the Mayo Clinic.
